Terms of service
These Terms of Service apply to orders placed through the Ashbe Workwear website.
Throughout these terms, "Ashbe Workwear", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Ashley Green trading as Ashbe Workwear.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to these terms.
Nothing within these terms is intended to restrict any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
1. About us
Ashbe Workwear supplies personalised workwear and garments, including products customised through embroidery, print and related decoration services.

2. Placing an order
When placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied is complete and accurate, including:
- Garment choices.
- Sizes and colours.
- Quantities.
- Personalisation selections.
- Artwork and logos.
- Text and spelling.
- Delivery information.
- Any relevant notes or instructions.
Please review your order carefully before completing checkout.
An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean we have accepted an order. We may contact you if we cannot fulfil an order, require additional information or identify an issue with the products or artwork requested.
3. Personalised goods
The products sold through our website are personalised or made to the customer's specification.
Once personalisation or bespoke preparation has begun, products cannot normally be resold to another customer.
For this reason, personalised goods are generally excluded from the usual change-of-mind cancellation rights that apply to many distance purchases.
Your rights relating to faulty goods, incorrectly supplied goods or products that are not as described remain unaffected.
4. Artwork and intellectual property
Customers must have the appropriate permission or rights to use any logos, artwork, trademarks, images or other material supplied to Ashbe Workwear.
By uploading or supplying artwork to us, you confirm that you are authorised to use it and to instruct us to reproduce it on the products ordered.
You agree not to provide artwork that infringes another person's intellectual property rights or is unlawful.
Where a third party makes a claim against us because material supplied by a business customer infringes their rights, the business customer may be responsible for resulting reasonable losses and costs to the extent permitted by law.
5. Artwork quality and accuracy
Customers are responsible for checking artwork and information before submitting their order.
Website orders are generally produced from the artwork and instructions supplied without a separate digital proof.
We may make minor technical adjustments necessary to prepare artwork for embroidery or print.
Colours displayed on screens can vary, and embroidery thread or print colours may not be an exact digital colour match.
Minor variations inherent to embroidery, garment manufacture, thread, print placement or production do not necessarily constitute a defect.
6. Embroidery digitisation
Logos intended for embroidery may require digitisation before production.
Digitisation involves converting artwork into a stitch file suitable for our embroidery equipment.
Any applicable setup or digitisation charge covers this bespoke preparation and is non-refundable once digitisation work has begun.
7. Placement
We take reasonable care to position embroidery and print consistently.
However, garments vary in construction, panel positioning, seams and sizing. As a result, there may be small variations in placement between garments or compared with website imagery.
Product photographs and mock-ups are intended as visual guides unless precise placement has specifically been agreed with us.
8. Sizing
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct garment size.
Individual manufacturers and garment styles can fit differently. Measurements and size guides should therefore be checked before ordering.
We cannot normally refund or exchange correctly supplied personalised garments solely because the selected size does not fit.
9. Prices and payment
Prices applicable to an order are those displayed at checkout at the time the order is placed.
Any delivery charges will be shown before checkout is completed.
Payment must be successfully completed using one of the payment methods offered on the website before we begin processing an order, unless otherwise expressly agreed.
10. Cancellations
Because garments and bespoke services may be ordered or started shortly after checkout, cancellation requests should be made as quickly as possible.
As a goodwill policy, customers may request cancellation within 24 hours of placing an order.
A request does not guarantee cancellation where bespoke work, digitisation, supplier orders or production have already begun.
After 24 hours, website orders cannot normally be cancelled.
Where cancellation is accepted after costs have already been incurred, we may retain reasonable, non-recoverable bespoke costs where legally permitted.
11. Production turnaround
Our normal production estimate is 7–10 working days, excluding delivery time.
During busy periods, production may take approximately 14 working days.
Turnaround can be delayed if we are waiting for suitable artwork, customer instructions, requested mock-ups or other information required to produce the order.
Unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing, turnaround dates are estimates rather than guaranteed event deadlines.
12. Delivery
Orders are delivered in accordance with our Shipping Policy.
Customers must provide accurate delivery information.
If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, please contact Ashbe Workwear so we can investigate and provide any remedy to which you are entitled.
13. Faulty or incorrect products
We aim to get every order right.
If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or incorrectly personalised due to an error by Ashbe Workwear, please contact info@ashbe.co.uk as soon as possible.
We ask that obvious issues are reported within 48 hours where possible, but this does not limit your statutory rights.
Further information is available in our Return & Refund Policy.
14. Customer-supplied errors
We are not normally responsible where the finished product accurately reflects incorrect information supplied by the customer.
This could include:
- Incorrect spelling.
- An incorrect logo.
- Poor-quality or incorrect artwork.
- The wrong personalisation information.
- Incorrect sizing or colour selections.
If you realise an error has been made, contact us immediately and we will try to help before production begins.
15. Product availability
Garments are sourced from third-party manufacturers and suppliers.
Stock availability can occasionally change after an order is submitted.
If a product becomes unavailable, we may contact you to offer:
- An alternative product.
- A revised production timeframe.
- A refund for the unavailable item.
We will not substitute an item with a materially different product without informing you.
16. Website imagery and product information
We make reasonable efforts to display products accurately.
Colours can appear differently depending on screen settings, lighting and manufacturing batches.
Product manufacturers may also make minor specification changes from time to time.
Where an exact characteristic is important to your order, please contact us before purchasing.
17. Business and consumer customers
Ashbe Workwear supplies both businesses and individual consumers.
If you are an individual purchasing wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession, you will generally be treated as a consumer and applicable consumer protection law will apply.
If you are purchasing wholly or mainly for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession, you may be treated as a business customer, including where you operate as a sole trader.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Liability
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill where the law requires us to be responsible.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights.
For business customers, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or anticipated savings, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
19. Events outside our control
We will not be responsible for delays caused by events reasonably outside our control, such as courier disruption, supplier shortages, severe weather, equipment failure, industrial action or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where this materially affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to keep you informed and minimise the delay.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The terms applying to your purchase will be those in force when your order is placed, subject to any mandatory legal rights.
21. Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to customers purchasing from another jurisdiction.
Customers in the Republic of Ireland retain any mandatory consumer rights that apply to them.
